PURPOSE: To obtain a safety device for an electromobile in which runaway of the vehicle can be prevented at the time of a collision accident of the electromobile.
CONSTITUTION: A current supplied from a drive power supply 1 is fed through a fuse 2 and a breaker 6 having a mechanism for disconnecting a circuit according to an acceleration, and controlled by a controller 3 to drive a motor 4 to travel a vehicle. When a circuit is short-circuited, the fuse 2 is melted to interrupt power supply of the motor 4. When a collision accident of the vehicle occurs, an iron sphere attracted to a magnet presses a trip button, and a breaker body interrupts supply of power to the motor 4. Thus, runaway of a vehicle can be prevented when the collision accident of the vehicle occurs.
