Abstract:
To provide a safety device for an elevator capable of securely alarming approach of a balance weight to a worker when the worker is working on a car.
In this safety device for an elevator comprising an elevator drive unit, and a balance weight 4 and a car 2 connected to each other like a well bucket through the drive unit, devices 3a, 3b for detecting relative positions of the car 2 and the balance weight 4 are provided, and a vibration body 5a which vibrates in response to action of the devices 3a, 3b is provided in an operation device 5 on the car 2.
