Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrict the opening force between flanges caused by the expansion force of a refractor due to the intense heat radiated by a vacuum tank, which can hardly be predicted, by installing a movable mechanical stopper in a conventional type flange fastening device.
CONSTITUTION: A stopper receiving section 14 is mounted on every hook, and a movable stopper 15 is installed in the upper side of an upper tank flange 7 and is moved to the stopper receiving section 14 by a cylinder after fastening flanges for preventing the flanges from opening.
