To provide a safety device of a gripping type hole digging and pole erecting vehicle capable of improving the stability and safety in traveling.SOLUTION: A safety device of a gripping type hole digging and pole erecting vehicle 1 includes: a boom storage detector 41 for detecting that a boom is stored in a vehicle body; an auger storage detector 42 for detecting that an auger device is stored in the boom; a gripping device storage detector 43 for detecting that a gripping device is stored with respect to the boom; and an interlock control unit 102 for allowing the operation of a jack device in accordance with the operation of a jack operation device 7 when a stored state of the boom is detected by the boom storage detector 41, a stored state of the auger device is detected by the auger storage detector 42, and a stored state of the gripping device is detected by the gripping device storage detector 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
