Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a safety device for a motor-driven machine for automatically turning off the driving power of a machine just by having an operator touch the machine even when it is not an emergency situation. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a wire mesh safety glove (20) worn by the operator, a motor-driven skinning machine (10) provided with a ground frame (12), a rotary driving type grip roller on the ground frame (12), a control means for electromagnetic signal receiver operation attached to the skinning machine (10) for controlling the rotation of the grip roller so as to rotate the grip roller while receiving electromagnetic signals and to stop the rotation when the electromagnetic signals are interrupted and an electromagnetic signal transmitter (42) connected to the conductive surface of the safety glove (20). When the conductive surface is grounded to the skinning machine (10), the electromagnetic signals sent from the transmitter are interrupted and the control means stops the rotation of the grip roller.
