Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a passenger conveyor capable of easily setting and adjusting a detection range matching a site use environment of a passenger conveyor and performing operation in accordance with forces applied from various directions.SOLUTION: The safety device of a passenger conveyor includes a passenger conveyor installed in a building, a protection plate 31 provided displaceably between the ceiling and a beam, a detection device for detecting displacement of the protection plate 31, and an operation control device for comparing information detected by the detection device with a prescribed threshold to control the operation of the safety device 3 in accordance with a comparison result. The detection device detects the displacement of the protection plate 31 by the forces applied from the plurality of directions with a multiple value amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
