Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fall of an operator from a control platform of a picking fork lift truck more certainly.SOLUTION: A safety device comprises wearing state determination means determining whether a belt 12 is worn by an operator. The wearing state determination means comprises: first recognition information put on a front side 12a of the belt 12; second recognition information put on a back side 12b of the belt 12; a camera 16 capturing a control platform 4; and an image processing system 17 detecting the first recognition information and the second recognition information by image processing of an image taken by the camera 16 and determining based on a detection result whether the belt is a wearing state or non-wearing state. The image processing system 17 determines that the belt 12 is a wearing state when the first recognition information is detected and the second recognition information is not detected, and determines that the belt 12 is a non-wearing state when the second recognition information is detected or both of the first recognition information and the second recognition information are not detected.
