PURPOSE: To provide a single wire type aerial cableway which can be relatively easily changed in its erecting place, and safely operated without having a risk of run-away.
CONSTITUTION: Three free rotating wheels 5, 6, 7 are triangularly arranged on the frame of a carrier A, a rope wound on the upper free rotating wheel in cross is longitudinally extended while it is in contact on the lower sides of the two free rotating wheels 5, 6 situated under, the respective extended end parts are hooked and suspended on trees stood with a certain distance, so that the carrier A can be moved. The upper free rotating wheel 7 is supported on a traction arm frame in such a manner as to be vertically movable within a set range, so that the upper free rotating wheel 7 is held in the position making contact on the lower two free rotating wheels 5, 6 when the traction arm frame is in the non-operated state, and transferred to the position where when the contact on the lower two free rotating wheels is released when the traction arm frame is operated.
