Title:
SAFETY DEVICE FOR WALKING OPERATION VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3922479
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure to stop the equipment body from traveling by turning off a traveling clutch lever when the operator of a walking type vehicle is caught between the equipment body and an obstacle.
SOLUTION: In this safety device for a walking operation vehicle, a clutch lever 1 in which a clutch pulley to turn on or off the power supply to the belt drive mechanism that transmits drive power to the traveling system is held in the on or off position by a fulcrum traversing mechanism is divided into a base part 2 pivotally coupled with an shaft 12 on the equipment body and a handle part 4 equipped with a lateral rod at the tip as a handle 3. If the handle 3 is released in the clutch on position, the handle part 4 is flexed at a coupled part 5 located between the handle and base parts, and the handle 3 goes lower than the shaft 12. If the operator's body touches the handle 3, the clutch lever 1 pivotally turns to the clutch off position.
