Abstract:
To provide a safety device for improving safety of occupants in a vehicle.
The automobile safety device has a vehicle seat 1, a sensor device 5 and an evaluation unit 6 which is connected to the sensor device and evaluates sensor data. The evaluation unit 6 is connected to at least one drive device 7. The drive device 7 moves at least one energy absorption element 8 from a stop position to an operating position or reversely along the seat 1 or the seat user.
