Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure the safety and to improve the reliability by detecting disconnection of a connector and a breaking of cable in a system transmitting/ receiving a signal through the use of the cable and connector.
CONSTITUTION: When the cable 7 and the connector 5, 6 are connected normally, a relay K in a fault detection circuit 9 is excited, the contact of a switch S is closed and no light emitting diode CR is lighted. If the cable 7 and the connectors 5, 6 are not normally connected, the relay K is not energized and the contact of the switch S is opened, then the light emitting diode CR is lighted.
