To provide a safety maintaining implement designed to enhance securing of safety for a worker by rigidly mounting it to a safety switch.
This safety maintaining implement includes a base body 21 which is inserted in an actuator inserting opening 7 and the tip part (down portion 21c) of which is fitted in the recessed part of the driving cam 9 of the safety switch to regulate rotation of the driving cam 9, and a slide body which is movably mounted to the base body 21 so that it can be inserted in an actuator inserting opening 8 with the base body 21 inserted in the actuator inserting opening 7, and the tip part (insertion arm portion 34) of which enters into the engagement hole 36 of the base body 21 inserted in the inserting opening 7 and gets engaged with it, when inserted in the actuator inserting opening 8.
