Title:
SAFETY NET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03137255
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a safety net having knitting strength, impact absorption resistance, flame retardance, light resistance, etc., by knitting a specific spun- dyed polyester yarn consisting essentially of polyethylene terephthalate,

CONSTITUTION: Synthetic yarn of spun-dyed polyester having ≥90mol% whole repeating unit of molecular chain comprising polyethylene terephthalate is knitted by raschel knitting machine into mesh woven fabric, which is heat-treated. The spun-dyed polyester yarn has ≥0.7 intrinsic viscosity, ≥7.0g/d strength at break, ≥15% elongation at break, ≥110 toughness, ≥4.5g/d loop strength, ≥45% light resistance and contains 0.3-1.0wt.% calculated as phosphorus element amount of bifunctional phosphorus compound.
