PURPOSE: To form a dovetail groove so as to make the depth thereof uniform over the total length thereof at the time of molding by closing both ends of the groove of a mold receiving dovetail groove forming strip like hard rubber by metal parts slightly lower than the height of the rubber and making the widths of both end parts of the groove slightly wide and providing protruding parts to peripheral metal parts.
CONSTITUTION: A groove 3 receiving the base part of hard rubber 2 is provided to a mold main body 1 between the long sides on both sides of the body pressing surface of the mold main body 1 and both ends of the groove 3 are closed by metal parts 4 slightly lower than the height of the hard rubber 2 and the widths of both end parts of the groove 3 are slightly expanded and protruding parts 5, 6 for raising molding pressure are provided along the long sides of the mold main body 1. The deformation in the height direction of the hard rubber is prevented from becoming large at both end parts thereof at the time of pressurization by the metal parts 4 and a dovetail groove having uniform depth over the total length thereof is formed. Since both end parts of the groove 3 are made wide, the deformation in the lateral direction of both end parts of the rubber 2 is prevented by the metal parts 4 and both end parts of the rubber are also prevented from becoming narrow. Further, the molding pressure of the metal parts 4 is enhanced by the protruding parts 5,6 to improve a molded tile.
