PURPOSE: To reduce the driving noises and the transmission loss of the driving force, by providing motors independently rotating the inner cutters in a plurality of shearing units and connecting the output shafts of respective motors to the inner cutter.

CONSTITUTION: A right triangular head plate 54 is provided at the top of the housing 52 constituting a safety razor 50 and three motors 56 are fixed at the rear face of the head plate 54. These motors 56 are positioned at the top of the head plate 54 and arranged to form a reverse triangle. The inner blades 58 are fixed to the output shafts 56a of respective motors 56 through pressed-in pieces 57. The blade bodies 58a of respective inner blades 58 are pushed upward by plate springs 59 held by the pressed-in pieces 57 and the inner blades 58. Fitting cylinders 62 provided with a netted and dome-shaped outer blade at the front end thereof, are put on so as to cover respective inner blades 58. On using it, when the motors 56 are driven, the inner blades 58 are rotated and the blade body 58b of the inner blade 58 slides on the inner peripheral face of the outer blade 60 to cut beards.
