To provide a safety shutoff device for sections of a fluid circuit which are needed to be mutually interrupted for safety reasons in case of a damage or the like.
This safety shutoff device comprises two chambers 19 and 20 having connecting passages 9 and 10 for sections needed to be mutually interrupted. The chambers are mutually separated by a piston 1, each of the two connecting passages of the chambers is closed by a closing element having a sealing force element when both the chambers are in the same pressure state. This device further comprises two operating devices 2 functionally connected to the closing elements and the piston, so that, when the piston is moved resulted from a pressure difference between the connecting passages, the closing element in the chamber which receives a higher pressure opens the relevant connecting passage to allow the fluid to flow from the section with the higher pressure to the other section with the lower pressure.
