Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety supplementary device in a foot press machine which enables continuous press operation even when an operator takes his hands off, after an upper die passes out of a risky zone of a human injury such as finger clipping in a press operation.
SOLUTION: The safety supplementary device in the foot press machine comprises a press vertical sliding guide 1 in the upper side of an operation zone, a press vertical sliding section 2 sliding up and down along the vertical sliding guide 1. The press vertical sliding guide 1 is attached with a first motion control switch at the position where the switch stays constantly on when the press sliding section 2 comes up and a stopper 9 goes higher than a lock base, and a changeover switch at the position where the metal die reaches a sufficiently safe height after the press sliding section 2 is lowered and passes out of the risky zone of finger clipping by the metal die. On the other hand, the press vertical sliding section 2 is attached with a motion control base to contact with the first motion control switch and a changeover base to contact with the changeover switch.
