To provide a safety switch using a solenoid in the prior art that simplifies an electrical structure relating to locking and unlocking, and increases freedom of selection of a use environment.

The structure of a safety switch includes a case, a removal interlocking mechanism which is interlocked with a removal movement of an actuator, a removal regulating mechanism which regulates movement of the removal interlocking mechanism, and a switch part which is operated according to at least one of movement of the removal interlocking mechanism and the removal regulating mechanism. The removal regulating mechanism mechanically switches over the removal interlocking mechanism between a removal permitted state which permits the removal of the actuator from the interlocking mechanism and an insertion and an extraction prohibited state which prohibits removal of the actuator from the interlocking mechanism, interlocked mechanically with a prescribed operation from the outside of the case.
