Abstract:
The invention relates to a security switch (safety switch) having a housing (1) which accommodates a switching device (13) which can be operated via an actuator (10) which can be unlocked via a key (15), which can be inserted into the housing (1), and can be displaced through a predetermined linear distance by the key in order to operate the switching device (13). In order that it can be operated using only one individual key, it is provided that a slot (5) is arranged in the housing (1), which slot (5) extends in the insertion direction and accommodates the actuator (10), and into which a large number of pins (6) project, which are arranged with their axes parallel to one another and at right angles to the insertion direction of the key (15) and are resiliently prestressed in the direction of the inserted key (15), and of which at least some lock the actuator (10) with respect to the housing (1), the key (15) having a coded pattern of retaining openings (17) corresponding to the locking pins (6) in order to unlock the actuator (10), and the pins (6) being correspondingly codeable.
