PURPOSE: To facilitate assembly work of a rim, by constituting a holding member with a rubber elastic material further forming a shock absorbing air gap.
CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing air gap 23 is continuously or incontinuously formed in the longitudinal direction of a holding member 22 for fixing a tire core 10 to a wheel rim 17. At assembly work of the rim, that is, when a side ring 13 is fitted to the rim 17 through a lock ring 14, the member 22 is compressed axially to the inside to contract the gap 23, here its compressive stress is comparatively small, on the contrary at completion of the rim assembly work, a bead part 21 is forcibly attached to the ring 13 and rim flange 24 by restoring force of the gap 23 further the core 10 can be surely held.
