Abstract:
PURPOSE:To made turning easy to turnably erecting a mast for rigging which has plural posts and spar members for connecting and also is fixedly held by a boat body, on the boat body through a corresponding guide rail which is circular when it is looked from the upper. CONSTITUTION:In a mast M for rigging, a starboard post 3a and a port post 3b on the bow portion side and rudder portion side posts 3c, 3d knotted integrally are joined together by three upper, middle and lower spar members 4a-4c in such a way that disjointing and assembling are possible. Respective lower end portions 5 of these posts 3a-3b whose sectional configurations are circular or elliptical, inscribe a circular guide rail 2, for example, they are arranged in such a way to be situated at respective apexes of an equilaternal triangle. Respective lower end portions 5 of these posts are formed into ring form, and also the upper face side of sliding metal fittings corresponding to the lower end portions 5a are closely spaced to the lower faces so as to perform hinge- connection through belt nuts for connecting to the upper metal fittings respectively joined together integrally by bolts.
