Abstract:
To effectively increase a sailing area while suppressing the increase in size of a pedestal and a mast height in the configuration that the pedestal capable of rotating with respect to a hull supports multiple sails.SOLUTION: A sailing ship comprises a hull, a pedestal supported rotatably by the hull, a first mast, a second mast and a third mast supported on the pedestal, a first main sail, a second main sail and a third main sail attached to the first mast, the second mast and the third mast respectively, and multiple jib sails. The second mast and the third mast are installed coser to the bow side than the first mast. The multiple jib sails are made to correspond to the first mast, the second mast and third mast respectively, and include the first jib sail, the second jib sail and the third jib sail. The first jib sail is fixed to the bow side of the pedestal, and the second jib sail and the third jib sail are fixed in the fixed position direction of the first jib sail from the second mast and the third mast.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
