PURPOSE: To efficiently cool the insides of a sales data processor body and a display device by communicating the inside of the device body with that of the display device so that air can freely flow between both the insides.
CONSTITUTION: A supporting pipe side opening part 24 as a device body 21 side communication means which penetrates to a hollow space forming in side the body 21 is formed in an inserting part of a cylindrical supporting pipe 22 as a supporting member for the device body 21, and a fan 25 is fixed to the outside of the part 24. Air in the device body 21 sucked by the tan 25 and fed into the internal hollow space of the supporting pipe 22. On the other hand, a display device side opening part 26 as a display device side communication means which penetrates from the internal hollow space of the pipe 22 to the internal space of the display device 23 is formed on a part supporting by the supporting pipe 22 of the display device 23. Since air is allowed to flow from a ventilation hole to the outside through the internal space of the device body 21 and that of the display device 23, temperature rise in the internal space can be suppressed.
