Abstract:
To improve the convenience of a sales management system.SOLUTION: A sales management system 10 includes: a cash register 12; first photographing means 14 built in or connected to the cash register 12; a storage unit 20; a face recognition function unit 22 that performs face recognition from an employee's face image taken by the first photographing means 14; an operation restriction unit 24 that restricts an operation performed by the employee on the cash register 12 based on the employee's authority information; and a restriction release function unit 26 that temporarily releases the operation restriction by the operation restriction unit 24. The restriction release function unit 26 issues a one-time password in response to an operation from a higher-level authority, and temporarily allows the restricted operation for a lower-privileged employee after the one-time password is entered into the cash register 12. This allows for a flexible response according to a situation for improved convenience, while restricting the operation according to the employee's authority to prevent the employee's fraud.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
