To provide a sales promotion technique determination system which can determine the most suitable sales promotion technique when sales promotion is performed using handbills together with another sales promotion media.

By this system, the distribution area, the number of distributed sheets of handbills, sales promotion media used jointly, the number of giveaways, unit costs of giveaways, the number of replies for every ages and sex distinctions at the past sales promotion are memorized in a management DB (Database) 20. When the distribution areas of handbills, ages and sex distinctions from whom replies are desired and the number of persons from whom replies are desired to the handbills are inputted to a sales promotion technique determination unit 10 of this system, the sales promotion technique determination unit 10 extracts from the management DB 20 combination of the number of distributed sheets, the number of giveaways, unit costs of the giveaways, sales promotion media used jointly based on combination of the inputted distribution areas, ages, sex distinctions, calculates past withdrawal rate, extracts the combination of the number of giveaways and units cost of the giveaways by which withdrawal rate becomes maximum, and displays them as a list together with the sales promotion media used jointly.
