Abstract:

To provide a salt exhibiting preferable molar absorbance coefficient, useful as such a dye in which a colored photosensitive resin composition containing a dye is known as a material for producing a color filter, since color filters are used in displays such as liquid crystal panels, electroluminescent panels and plasma display panels; to provide a dye containing the salt as an active component; and a colored resin composition containing the dye.

This salt comprises an anion and a cation expressed by formula (1).
