To provide a sample analysis chip having a simple liquid sending method, and having no dispersion of liquid quantities in each well, capable of preventing an influence of an external environment on reagents, concerning a sample analysis chip for generating a reaction by sending liquid into wells formed on the chip, and to provide a sample analysis method using the chip.
In this sample analysis chip having on a substrate, a plurality of wells, channels linking to each well, and an injection port 107 for injecting a solution into the channels therethrough, for distributing the solution into the wells by rotating the substrate, a liquid reservoir 106 in which the solution exists in the stage before rotation, and the channels for connecting the liquid reservoir to each well are provided on the rotation center side more than the wells, and a hot-melt substance 502 is arranged in at least one of the wells.
