Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve position controllabillty against the disturbance to a sample in up-and-down and lateral directions by simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: Heads 12, 22 are screwed in a pair of pipe terminals 11, 21 to be fixed thereto and arranged in mutually opposed relationship so as to leave an interval arranging a sample 4. Many gas jet orifices 14a are provided to the whole of the gas jet wall 14 of the upper head 12 at an equal interval and the lengths of nozzles 14b are made shorter from the center of the head to the outside thereof in order to equalize the flow rates and flow velocities of the gas injected from the gas jet orifices 14a. A ring-shaped gas jet orifice 24a for controlling the position of the sample 4 in up-and-down and lateral directions is provided to the gas jet wall 24 of the head 22. The position and size of a jet orifice 24a are determined so as to be balanced with the flow rates and flow velocities of the jet gas from the upper jet orifices 14a.
