Title:
SAMPLE SEPARATOR FROM POWDERY PARTICLE SUBSTANCE FLOW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01270637
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a sample separator from powdery particle substance flow which can function even under severe conditions for carrying large quantity of powdery particle substance flow by disposing a first hollow sieve while spacing apart by a specified distance from the suction port of a suction tube and coupling the inside of first hollow sieve with the inside of a second hollow sieve through piping.

CONSTITUTION: Hollow tubular sieves 56, 86 are arranged in hollow tubular housings 44, 84 coaxially therewith. The housing 44 is provided with a flow-in port 108 in such direction as a mixture of air and powdery dust scarcely strikes the sieve 56 directly, Since the inner chamber of sieve 86 is coupled through piping 94 with an analyzer, 'major fraction' formed by the sieves 56, 86 is introduced continuously to the analytic system. The 'major fraction' has upper and lower limits (e.g. 0.2mm and 0.03mm) of particle required for analysis being defined by the sieves 56, 86. A rotor 60 is disposed in the sieve 56 and the sieve face is cleaned by blowing the air from the inside thereby removing large outer particles on the outside adhering to the sieve face.
