Abstract:

To provide a sample slide processor structured in a simple and compact manner.

The sample slide processor includes a carrying-in section 14 for carrying in a rack 16 storing a sample slide, and enclosing modules 30, 32 for enclosing the sample slide. Further, the processor includes a carrying-out section 22 for carrying out the rack 16, a transport unit 20 for transporting the rack 16, and a control unit 52 for controlling the transport unit 20. The transport unit 20 is configured so as to be able to transport the rack 16 among the carrying-in section 14, the enclosing modules 30, 32 and the carrying-out section 22 by using the transport unit 20.
