To provide an environment sampling device capable of easily collecting a sample at a survey point where no electric power is available due to inconvenient traffic and capable of largely reducing the labor and cost for transporting the sample to a laboratory.
This sampling device 1 is a container 2 having a sample introduction port 3 and an air vent port 6 and is wholly or partially submerged by gravitational force in a liquid (environmental water 8) to be collected as a sample, its inside is communicated with the space above the liquid surface S2 of the liquid 8 via the air vent port 6, and a solid phase extraction(SPE) cartridge 4 is removably fitted through the sample introduction port 3 opened below the liquid surface S2. A prescribed quantity of the sample is semiautomatically collected at a survey point without requiring energy in particular, concentration is made by solid phase extraction, only the lightweight SPE cartridge collecting the measurement object material is transported to the location of an analyzer.
