Title:
SAMPLING FREQUENCY CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012231257
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a sampling frequency conversion device that converts a sampling frequency for an input signal at a fractional ratio as calculating only necessary sample signals.

The sampling frequency conversion device includes an interpolation filter. The interpolation filter has a plurality of cascade-connected delay units, a plurality of multipliers for multiplying an input signal input into the interpolation filter and signals output from the delay units by tap coefficients to produce sample signals, a plurality of adders for adding up the sample signals output from the plurality of multipliers, and a counter circuit for counting pulses of a second clock signal, and outputs tap coefficients corresponding to the count value of the counter circuit to the plurality of multipliers to convert a first sampling frequency for the input signal to a second sampling frequency.
