To provide a sampling method and sampling equipment which are suitable for the collection of a sampling from the ground etc.
The sampling equipment 10 enables a sampling pipe 11 to penetrate a sampling area 1 in which the sampling is collected (a sampling-pipe penetration step), enables a coolant injection pipe 15 with a closed lower end to be inserted into the periphery of the lower end of the sampling pipe 11 penetrating the sampling area 1 (a coolant-injection-pipe insertion step), enables a heat insulating pipe 16 to be inserted into the sampling area 1 in such a manner as to enclose the sampling pipe 11 and the injection pipe 15 (a heat-insulating-pipe insertion step), and enables a cooling medium 18 to be injected into the injection pipe 15 and the lower end of the sampling pipe 11 to be closed by freezing the sampling area 1 near the lower end of the sampling pipe 11 (a sampling-pipe closing step). Thus, the sampling can be collected by pulling up the sampling stored in the sampling pipe 11 together with the sampling pipe 11.
