Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a working environment, to drastically lessen the generation of blowhole defects in a resulted casting and to obtain sound casting.
CONSTITUTION: The sand compsn. for forming a casting mold, the process for production of the casting mold and the hardener compsn. for forming the casting mold in which the nitrogen content, more preferably nitrogen content and phosphorus content in the formed casting mold and further preferably, the nitrogen content, phosphorus content and sulfur content therein are in a specified range and the weight ratio expressed by the sulfur content/(phosphorus content + sulfur content) in regenerated sand and hardener are in a specified range at the time of producing the casting mold by using the regenerated sand as an essential component and curing an acid curing furan resin.
