PURPOSE: To simplify discharge of sand by installing plural long. corrugation bags at spaces in a river, accumulating sand between the bags while a fluid is supplied to the interiors of bags, letting the fluid out of the bags to sink the bags under the water surface and. carrying away the sand by a water flow.
CONSTITUTION: A fluid is supplied to corrugation bags 3 which are formed by a ribber coated fabric or the like and fixed to the concrete ground of the bottom of a river and the bags are expanded to erect. Subsequently, sand carried with water of the river 1 is gradually accumulated between the bags 3 and between the riverside 2 and the bags 3. A fluid is let out of the bags 3 to contract the bags, and the bags are sunk under the water surface to form a water path. Water of the river 1 is gathered and flows into the water path, and the water carries away the accumulated sand in the periphery of the water path toward the sea. Thus, sand can be discharged with very good efficiency and surely, and the device can be simplified to reduce its cost.
