Title:
SANDGLASS TYPE URN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005192970
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve problems of a conventional urn only to be buried in the grave or with a plate in which a photograph, the name or the anniversary of the death, etc. of a deceased person are engraved, wherein the photograph or plate can be easily taken out or the urn might be dropped and broken so that ashes in the urn are scattered, and wherein, as the urn is made only to be rested, the urn can not be stored in a pocket or a handbag.

Ashes are ground and mixed with glass beads to make the urn have a function as a sandglass in which ground ashes with glass beads flow down smoothly. Further, by compactly enclosing a fading-resisting photograph or plate with a name or an ornament in an optical transparent resin, the urn which is excellent in the appearance and which will not be broken semi-permanently can be provided.
