Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve a light control function by using a mixture essentially consisting of a polyvinyl butyral resin, epoxy resin and photochromic material to form a light control resin layer provided between a pair of transparent glass. CONSTITUTION:The light control resin layer 13 provided between a pair of the transparent glass 11, 12 is constituted by using the polyvinyl butyral resin, the epoxy resin and the photochromic material 14 as essential components, adding a solvent to the mixture composed thereof, disposing the film formed from such soln. between the transparent glasses 11 and 12, heating and pressurizing the laminate and adhering the transparent glasses 11, 12 by the resin 13 for light control. The epoxy resin is incorporated at 10-30 parts per 100 parts polyvinyl butyral resin and the photochromic material at 0.5-2.5 parts, respectively, into the light control resin layer 13 in this case. Further, a stabilizer selected from a UV absorbent, heat ray absorbent and antioxidant is incorporated therein. The sufficient light control is thereby obtd. in rapid response to the various intensities of light.
