Abstract:

PURPOSE: To safely perform dredging work in places where the setting of scaffold is impossible by a method in which an underwater sand pump is led through a double tube to a float, a handle is erectly provided on the float, and a sludge discharge tube is provided to the inside of the double tube and the float.

CONSTITUTION: A sandy sludge remover consists of an underwater sand pump 4 to suck up sandy sludge 10, a float 2 to float the sand pump 4, a double tube 3 connecting the pump 4 with the float 2, and a handle 1 erectly provided on the float 2. In such a device, the sludge discharge tube of the underwater pump 4 is led to the central parts of the double tube 3 and the float 2. A rubber boat 11 is floated on the water surface of a dredging site, and the handle 1 is vertically operated by an operator for dredging work.
