Abstract:
To provide a sanitary ceramic which maintains mechanical strength required for the sanitary ceramic, whose shape and dimensions after firing can be precisely designed and which is almost free from lowering of yield caused by shrinkage or deformation and can be efficiently placed in a furnace and produced with good producibility.
The sanitary ceramic is constituted of a sanitary ceramic body and glaze layers which are formed on the necessary parts of the sanitary ceramic body. In the sanitary ceramic body, parts where a CaO-component has segregated exist in a dispersed state.
