Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sanitary tampon with an applicator which allows the sure insertion of the tampon into the deep part of the vaginal cavity.
SOLUTION: An outer cylinder 2 of the applicator in which the sanitary tampon 4 is housed is formed to a length longer by 50 to 80 mm than the length of the tampon 4. As a result, the tampon may be surely located in the deep part of the vaginal cavity and the use of the tampon 4 is made possible even if the tampon is softer than the conventional tampons. The exertion of an odd feel by the use of the tampon is averted.
