A sanitary washing device consists of the main body 14 and a tank 15. Spout openings 17 through which washing water is sent forth are formed at the end of a washing nozzle 16. On occasions of sending washing water from the washing nozzle 16, a push knob 28 is to be pressed down against the elastic force of the first compression spring. By this the through hole of a rod 27 agrees with a mounting hole 40 and washing water is sent forth from the spout openings 17 of the washing nozzle 16. An additional press of the push knob 28 against the elastic force of the second compression spring brings the through hole and the second mounting hole 41 into an agreement and then washing water is sent to a cleaning nozzle through a water sending tube 43 and with this washing water the washing nozzle 16 is cleaned.
