To provide a sash frame which can minimize locational deviation at a joint portion between a jamb and a head and/or a sill.
According to the structure of the sash frame, right and left jambs 3A formed of an extruded sections, each have fins 6 to 9 on a surface thereof opposed to each other, and have a short cut remnant portion 21 arranged on the surface at a location at least above or below the fin 8. Then a fitting portion 22 is formed on the head and/or the sill 4 conforming to the cut remnant portion 21, and an end of the fitting portion 22 formed on the head and/or the sill 4 is fitted onto the cut remnant portion 21 of the jamb 3A to achieve positioning of the head and/or the sill 4 to the jamb 3A. Further, end faces of the head and the sill 4 are abutted on the opposed surfaces of the right and left jambs 3A, and then the jambs 3A are connected to the head and sill 4 by means of tapping screws 11.
