To provide a less-cost filter circuit having excellent high-frequency characteristics and capable of performing pattern adjustment, and to provide a broadcast receiver employing the same.
In this satellite broadcast receiver, the filter circuit comprises an electric substrate, a chassis 4, and a frame 5. Further, a ground conductor 3 is removed in a region on the electric substrate where the filter circuit is formed, a hole is formed on a portion of the chassis 4 where the filter circuit is formed, a bottom surface 4b of the hole is used as the grounding surface of the lower side of a high-frequency line pattern 2, and the ceiling surface 5c of the frame 5 is used as a grounding surface of the upper side of the line pattern 2. Thus, a triplate-strip line-type filter circuit in which the grounding surfaces are provided on upper and lower surfaces of the line pattern 2 can be configured at a low cost, and excellent high-frequency characteristics can be acquired.
