Abstract:
To increase resistance to a weather condition.SOLUTION: A satellite communication device according to an embodiment includes a modulation unit, a transmission signal generation unit, a level setting unit, a control unit, a detection unit, and a calculation unit. The modulation unit generates a multi-value modulation signal from an encoded transmission signal. The transmission signal generation unit generates a transmission signal to be transmitted by uplink to an artificial satellite from the multi-value modulation signal. The level setting unit sets the transmission level of the transmission signal on the basis of the control amount. The control unit repeatedly controls the controlled variable to a target value in a first cycle. The detection unit repeatedly detects the reception level of a beacon signal received from the artificial satellite on the downlink. The calculation unit repeatedly calculates the target value in a second cycle which is shorter than the first cycle on the basis of the detected reception level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
