Abstract:
PURPOSE: A satellite communication, a base station and a mobile station are provided to perform beam change without a loss of communication data. CONSTITUTION: A time generator(321) generates accurate time data and outputs it to a timing controller(323). The time data generated by the time generator(321) has enough high precision compared to instantaneous power stoppage time of beam change. A satellite orbit estimating unit(322) accurately estimates orbit information of a communication satellite through computation and outputs it to the timing controller(323). When the timing controller(323) receives a request of beam change from a mobile station, it determines time of beam change at the communication satellite based on the time data and satellite orbit information and timing for inserting dummy data to transmission data of a base station(3). A dummy data inserting unit(324) inserts the dummy data to the transmission data based on the insertion timing.
