Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite packet communication system that can efficiently conduct sun transit control without the need for moving all mobile units and to provide its sun transit control method. SOLUTION: A subscriber system processing unit 44 is provided with a sun transit information transmission instruction means that instructs a mobile unit 308 resident in a 1st communication satellite 104 being an object of sun transit to transmit sun transit information to a base station 204 and with a shift instruction transmission indication means that instructs the base station 204 to transmit an instruction to move the mobile unit 308 being a packet destination from the 1st communication satellite 104 to a 2nd communication satellite 102 not an object of sun transit to the mobile unit 308, when a network 44 transmits a packet to the mobile unit 308.
