The reception part 30 includes a GPS signal processor 60 having a signal amplification means for controlling the LNA 28. The signal amplification control means outputs an OFF signal to a control signal input terminal when the reception mode is time measuring mode, to control the LNA 28 to keep halted. When the reception mode is positioning mode, the signal amplification control means outputs an ON signal to the control signal input terminal to control the LNA 28 to keep operated.
