PURPOSE: To suppress the complication needed for the installing construction of a satellite signal receiver and to prevent the increase of the construction cost by providing a remote antenna position control mechanism which includes a satellite signal antenna, a satellite signal frequency converting part, and a satellite signal turner.

CONSTITUTION: A satellite signal receiver is provided with the receiving sensitivity data transmitting parts 21 and 22 which detect the receiving sensitivity and transmits the receiving sensitivity data, a receiving sensitivity data transmitting part 19 which transmits the receiving sensitivity data through a signal transmission line 14 which supplies the satellite signals sent from a satellite signal frequency converting part 17 to a satellite signal turner part 20, a receiving sensitivity data separating part 18 which extracts the receiving sensitivity data out of the line 14, and an antenna control part 23 and the drive signal generating parts 25 and 26 which control the position of a satellite signal antenna 11 based on the receiving sensitivity data given from the line 14 so that the receiving sensitivity detected by both parts 21 and 22 are maximized, in addition to the antenna 11, a satellite signal frequency converting part 17, and a satellite signal tuner part 20 respectively.
