Abstract:

To provide a savings box rich in its interest which is useful for a decorative ornament.

A motif such as a post is employed for a savings box and the periphery of a body B is designed to expand in accordance with the quantity of hard money stored in an accommodation receptacle. The body B is provided with a cage member 2 having a plurality of leaf spring parts 2c on a base 1 and the receptacle 4 of the hard money G is supported thereby through a tubular member 3. The periphery of the body is covered with an expansible member 5 such as an elastic cloth. When the hard money is stored in the receptacle, the leaf spring parts 2c are distorted outward due to its weight and the periphery of the body expands. Then, the expansible member may be also deformed as if the body were completely filled with the hard money. As other means, a head part 6 can be supported by a post so that only the receptacle can be lifted or lowered without changing the height.
