To provide a savings box allowing to save money with enjoyment by arousing interest in saving money with amusement in which comical motion is performed when coins are fed like giving food to an animal.

A savings box includes: a storing chamber 4 arranged inside a body of the savings box for storing coins; a decorative body 3 mounted on a pedestal 2 formed on an upper face of the body by imitating a form of an animal for feeding the coins from a mouth of the animal; and a driving means 5 arranged inside the body for moving the coins from the decorative body to the storing chamber for storing while giving predetermined motion to the decorative body. The driving means lowers the head of the animal by responding to feeding of the coins, raises buttocks to a half-sitting posture, and rotates the pedestal while moving legs. When the animal is rotated 180°, rotation of the pedestal is temporarily stopped, the buttocks of the animal are lowered, and thereafter the buttocks are raised. The coin is dropped from the buttocks and stored in the storing box. The head of the animal is lowered and the buttocks are raised to the half-sitting posture and the animal is rotated 360°.
